| 中文描述 | 丙型產氣莢膜梭狀桿菌是一種常見造成小豬下痢的原因，而且會大量的造成數週齡以內的小豬死亡，傳染力強。一旦一窩小豬開始發病散播病原，附近的小豬也可能整窩或部分受到感染。以剖檢時腸道壁出現大量丙型產氣莢膜梭狀桿菌所導致的的血樣泡沫做為診斷依據。Niilo 與 Hoefling 等人有提出以疫苗來做為控制疾病的方法。甲型產氣莢膜梭狀桿菌曾在因其它病原導致下痢的小豬糞便中被分離出來。 |

| 英文描述 | CLOSTRIDIUM PERFRINGENS type C is a common cause of diarrhea in young pigs. Severe fatal disease in the first few weeks of life. May become endemic. Whole litters or parts of litters may be affected, while other litters are spared. When older pigs are affected hemorrhage from bowel is rare. Dx by hemorrhage and gas bubbles in wall of intestines associated with large numbers of COSTRIDIUM PERFRINGENS type C. Control using vaccination was discussed by Niilo, and control was also discussed by Hoefling. C. PERFRINGENS type A has been isolated from diarrheic piglets in association with other pathogenic agents. |
